This week a customer brought us in her husband’s old Raleigh International to be refurbished as a Valentine’s Day present. The bike was an early touring bike and had its fair share of rust but still looked cool. We outfitted it with new fenders, tires, and moustache bars. When it was done it turned out to be a really classy looking bike.

This bike really got me thinking about building something similar for myself. I have had the urge to build a classic path racer style bike with moustache bars and fenders. I’m thinking about a 3 speed hub rather than a standard drivetrain.

Something like this would be perfect for a “Tweed Run”
