Today was my fourth day back at the shop and it has done wonders for my spirit and brain function. I love seeing everyone again as well as being in the shop. It truly lifts my spirits.
Sadly my collarbone is not healing, it’s becoming worse.
I need surgery ASAP and will be under the knife next week on February 18th. It doesn’t seem to be a big deal at all. It’s estimated that I will only be hospitalized for 23 hours.
However recovery time is unsure at this moment. I assumed I would be back at the shop that weekend but word of mouth claims I will be out for the count for some time.
I just can’t wait to get this done and start healing. Without surgery it would be at least 6 months in a sling and then rehabilitation and who knows, it could be a year before I ride again.
Unacceptable.
But with surgery I’m only out of the game for 8 more weeks from Dday.
So come and see me before my surgery!
