CBC team rider and all around cool guy, Brian Beckmann, had recently come in to ask us to build a Surly Long Haul Trucker for his dad. With goals in creating this bike for commuting to and from work as well as Touring purposes, comfort was high on the list of priorities. We installed mustache bars due to the many hand positions that are capable with them.  We also installed Civia Full Fenders to keep the elements away from Brian’s dad as he rides to work. Ultimately, with the Surly Long Haul Trucker being a natural touring bike and with the implementation of a few other products; this bike became one amazingly comfortable ride!
