Every Saturday morning until it gets too cold is the CBC novice roadie ride. This is a relaxed 18 mile ride along the James River and through down town. This is a no drop ride but do keep the following in mind… This is a road bike ride so hybrids and other bikes will be a significant disadvantage. Helmets are mandatory. Clipless shoes and pedals are suggested. Average pace is slow but parts of the ride do have some little hills that the additional efficiency of clipless pedals (or at least toe cages) will help out on.

If you have any questions about equipment suggestions to get the most out of this ride call or stop by the shop.

The ride will be led each week by CBC staff and Baker Ellett of Blue Dog Properties.

Coffee at CAN CAN or one of the other fine establishments in Carytown after the ride.

Let’s have some fun.
