Carytown Bicycle Company Multisport Team

JEFF TUNSTALL

Jeff Tunstall grew up your typical athlete from Mechanicsville; Football, Basketball, and Baseball. With the glory days long gone, Jeff looked for ways to fill that competitive desire through Triathlons. Since 2005 Jeff has competed in 6 half Ironmans and 1 full Ironman. In 2009, Jeff focused on gaining some speed and strength in all the disciplines to help carry into 2010 as he looks to compete in IMLP and ITU Worlds Long Distance. He finished off the year with a 1st place Age Group and 4th overall at Naylors Beach Olympic.

MIKE COOK

Mike is a former NCAA Division 1 soccer player who began competing in triathlons in 2002. Mike has completed 3 Ironman and 6 Half Ironman finishes. In 2007-2008, Mike decided to focus on improving his bike and run speed at shorter distances, and has since been a top age group and overall finisher in several local multisport races. In 2009, Mike will look to test his mettle again at the Ironman distance at IM USA in hopes that his short course speed work over the last couple of seasons will translate back to long course racing.
